This investigation took place on September 4th at the McInteer Villa in Atchison, KS. A black mass, that looks like smoke, lifts up from the floor, crawls up the walls and into the ceiling, as if the house is pulling energy up through the earth. Some say there is a scientific reason why this happened. Something to do with the IR lighting verses the bricks in the basement. However, when we went back in November, we could not reproduce this effect. Is there truly a reaction between the IR light and the bricks? Or is it a paranormal phenomenon? It’s up to you to decide.
