The hype around this book has been unquestionable and, admittedly, that made me both eager to get my hands on it and terrified to read it. Intriguing, mesmerizing and magickal. This book is absolutely incredible. From the end of the first chapter I was mesmerized, immersed in the storyline. I felt like I was walking alongside Selene', the author's words are magickal capturing your attention and making it difficult to put the book down. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Atlantis and learning through fantasy. Or is it fiction/fantasy. It seems so real, a wonderful distraction from every day life. Atlantis: City of Mages is a good book about a young oracle Selene who has a vision of a traveler The Destroyer of Worlds whose mission is to go from world to world observing and if not satisfied then take drastic measures. Is this merely a dream for Selene or is this all about to come true?
